We finished a Trac and SVN server upgrade today. This will increase our reliability. However, some people were disconnected from their development space because we changed the IP address of “tools.assembla.com”, and this took time to propagate from the DNS. I hope everyone is working now. Thank you for your patience.

We had to upgrade to a bigger server with much more disk space because we now are hosting 844 workspaces with Trac and Subversion.

If you continue have trouble reaching the SVN server because you have the old IP address, please add the correct address your “hosts” file. The hosts file is usually in /etc/hosts or /windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts on windows.

Here is the correct hosts line:
